When I'm excited to try something new, patience isn't exactly a strong point. So, about a minute into a youtube video on crocheting with wire and beads to make a necklace, I was off into the craft room to find any wire I could, any crochet hook I could, and some beads to play along.

So this is my first attempt with the concept. I used the same shape (oval) beads but in a random variety of colours.

The wire is slightly thinner than recommended, but only just, and it's what I had on hand.
I'm quite happy with the first results and the shape looks fantastic on.
