Spring Bouquet of Greeting Cards

Finally, some nice weather! And a surprise too as they were predicting the umpteenth day of rain. Much has sprouted up in the garden the last few days and the green is super vibrant when you get to see it against a blue sky! Sooooo pretty!

Recently I picked up these packs of felt and wire flowers. I thought they were kind of fun, and would make nice cards. I just used simple blocks of card stock and scrapbook papers, a whole lot of contact cement, and a few sequins for embellishment.

Et voila... spring bouquet with white daisy ....

I think the contact cement (or rubber cement) gives you a lovely finished product, but there would be several much quicker alternatives.

and with blue flower ...

The flowers themselves I applied with a hot glue gun.

And with pink daisy ....

These cards are a large size 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and ideal for several occasions.

And with yellow flower ...

Happy Spring! I hope it's nice tomorrow ....
