Winter Wonderland Snowflakes

Beautiful glass 'confetti' beads really make these snowflake icicles

It was back to the snowflake ornaments yesterday - this time in Winter Wonderland variations.  Glass confetti beads are among my very favourites, and as I had the perfect shade of tiny seed beads to accompany them we were off and running.

Snowflake Icicle Dangles in Robins Egg Blue/Green
The rest of the icicle dangle features large acrylic gum ball beads and graduated glass pearls in shades of robins egg blue.  Since I was really excited about the matching seed beads, I featured them more up the hanging portion of the ornament with spacings of 3-1 with frosted 8/0 white seed beads.

Snowflake Icicle Dangles in Turquoise
I also made several in this deeper turquoise blue.  Again featuring the large acrylic gum ball beads, this versioin also has large acrylic faceted beads, glass crackle beads and frosted glass beads.  I've become quite a fan of including the sparkly gem on the frosted acrylic snowflakes, but there is no surprise there, is there?

  1. You? A fan of sparkles? Nope, that's not a surprise. They're awfully cute!
